According to the August 26th issue of Christian News, former Eastern District President, Dr. Arnold Kromphardt advised officers of the LLL to force Dr. Wallace Schulz to recuse himself from the Benke case or be removed
as speaker of the Lutheran Hour.

Kromphardt did not inform Schulz that he was pressuring the LLL to remove Schulz while Kromphardt was also advising Schulz.

As of August 20, 2002, www.lcms.org lists Kromphardt as holding a Ph.d from Glencullen University in Dublin, Ireland.  Glencullen is not a University, but a degree mill that makes more than $2,000,000.00 a year selling bogus degrees.

CN also reported that the new Lutheran Hour speaker, Dr. Kenneth Klaus, has an honorary Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Evangelical Reformed Methodist Church, of Toledo, Ohio.  There is no Evangelical Reformed Methodist Church in Toledo, Ohio.  CN claims the LLL will ask one of the Synod's Colleges to grant Klaus an authentic honorary degree.
Al Waldron, President of the LLL, announced that Dr. Kenneth Klaus is now, "The Pastor of the World."

Coincidently, the August 2002 issue of the "Lutheran Witness" had Dr. Oswald, the retired speaker from the Lutheran Hour, now 88, on the front cover.  Hoffmann repeated the admonition to "Just proclaim and represent Jesus Christ."  We ask, "When didn't Wally Schulz do just that for 25 years?"  We also ask at what time in the history of the LCMS did a Synodical President send out a letter to every congregation in the Synod condemning the work of his Vice-President as President Gerald Kieschnick did to Vice-President Wallace Schulz?  At what time in the history of the LCMS did a Synodical President sit quietly in the audience while a Jewish congressman compared Wally Schulz to the Nazis?  But this is exactly what Kieschnick did and then Kieschnick gave his support to the congressman.  It is easy for Hoffmann to say "Just Preach Christ" but the LLL will fire you if you do the work required by the Synodical Constitution.

Saint Paul couldn't have met the requirements of the LLL if he was a Synodical Vice-President because the LLL is opposed to the LCMS Constitution.  Hoffman says, "Just proclaim and represent Jesus Christ wherever that takes you.  That's Martin Luther.  That's what he did."  We ask, "Has Hoffmann has ever read Luther?"  The following is one of thousands of quotes from Luther about Christ that would have thrown Luther off of the Lutheran Hour faster than they got rid of Wally Schulz.

But the difficulty arises from the demand that people believe in Him as the true, eternal, almighty God, not merely as man.  At this point all other faiths on earth separate from the Christian faith.  For this article is beyond reason and human wisdom, and consequently it has always been attacked by clever and sophistic spirits.  Turks, Jews, and other super smart masters of God's Word blaspheme and laugh about it still." LW13:234
