Yes, it is true. The first issue of "The Polygraph: Testing for
Truth" by publisher and only writer, Dr. Waldo Werning, is hot off the
presses. The first issue of Polygraph was released in March 2003.
It is 20 pages long on an 8 ½ by 11 format. "The Polygraph"
has its own unique format of one 7 ½ inch column per page in 10 point type.
This is exactly what the LCMS needs, a new publication that draws its name
from science, that is inadmissible in court.
"The Polygraph" springs from the same mind that promotes new and
creative explanations for the Trinity such as:
1. "experiencing God in a three-fold manner."
2. "three manners of being (God above us, God among us, God in
us),"
3. "three levels of reality [in God] (nature, history, existence)"
4. "three ways in which God reveals Himself"
5. "three forms of address [from God] ('You shall!,' 'You may!,' 'You
can!')"
6. "one of the three ways in which God has revealed Himself"
These are the same statements concerning which President Kieschnick reports
this author is charged before the LCMS Praesidium for breaking the Eighth
Commandment when this author called them heresy and their writer a heretic.
I received my copy by fax from Christian News at 573-237-3110 or

You can order your own subscription to "The Polygraph" by writing
to St. Paul's Polygraph, Box 32, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Whether the
name "St Paul's" has anything to do with St. Paul's Lutheran
Church in Oconomowoc that Werning attends, we cannot tell. (bulk mail permit
no. 45)
To subscribe to "The Polygraph" you are asked to send a letter to
the above address stating"
"I want to receive "The Polygraph" monthly Newsletter.
"Enclosed is my gift to inform Synod members and to help bring peace
and unity through truth to the LCMS. [Suggested donations are: $25,
$50, $100, $250 and 'other.'"
The Polygraph is noted for objectivity with conclusive statements such as:
"Like all the other Confessional Lutherans, Marquart disobeyed 2.39c by
failing to take his complaint and misinterpretations to the Commission on
Theology and Church Relations of which he is a member."
The Polygraph demonstrates analysis based on the facts with statements such
as:
"If we read VP Schulz's Report-Decisions 100 times, the truth and
reality would not change: There are no formal objective facts,
evidence, definitions, Scriptures, criteria or Scriptural and LCMS
statements of fellowship doctrine and practice." (This is exactly
what it says. I checked it three times.)
The following are insightful the titles of articles in the first issue of
"The Polygraph."
1. Synod Adopts Resolution 3-07A with the Fellowship Statement
2. Dissenters Against 3-07A Must Obey Bylaw 2.39c
3. Dr. David Benke with the Agreement of LCMS President Gerald Kieschnick

should be impressed with Werning's new publication. Imitation is the
greatest form of flattery.
