Faith Inkubators LCMS Connection
By Rev. Jack Cascione

Before giving any further information simply read a message about the LCMS off of the "Faith Inkubators News" website.

"Date: Nov 25 1998 18:11:01 EST From: Faith Inkubators News <newsletter@faithink.com> Subject: Giving Thanks Hi from the FINK, (From Rich Melheim) Happy Thanksgiving. I've just returned from two rather interesting weeks of brainstorming and am filled with thanks for what I see happening around the church. Two weeks ago I spent three days in St. Louis with 50 LCMS thinkers, educators and national office folks looking at the future of family ministry. Jeff Schubert, the new family ministry guru at LCMS headquarters, has a passion for pushing youth and family ministry to the forefront of the agenda for congregations in the next years. Research just out shows that only 7.5% of the 6000 LCMS congregations are intentionally focusing on building healthy family ministry systems in congregations. Jeff is working to change that and is happy to partner with FINK to help churches find life-giving systems. Power to him! Keep Jeff, the LCMS educators and their work in your prayers...."

Who were the 50 LCMS educators, thinkers, and national office folk? I’m sure Jeff Schubert knows. There is also no question that many LCMS District Presidents, those paragons of honor, truth, and orthodoxy, are campaigning for Faith Inkubators across the LCMS as the greatest thing since bubbles in beer. Yes, "Faith Inkubators" is new, effective, easy to teach, even if it teaches heresy and false doctrine. You have to be willing to make a few changes if you are a Synodical leader with vision to make the church grow. Pray that God will rid the Synod of the COP or at least put them all back into congregations.
